Gateway WA is showing its support of sport this upcoming weekend by lighting the Sky Ribbon panels of the Grand Gateway in the colours of home sides, West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers, for the AFL preliminary finals.
The Grand Gateway to WA is open to road users with all major movements at the interchange in operation.
One of the main tasks to be carried out by the project team across the coming week is the ongoing installation of Earth Ribbon, one of the public art features of the Grand Gateway.
The majority of movements are now in operation for road users at the Tonkin Highway / Dunreath Drive interchange.
The project team is ready for a weekend of work to move further towards completion of the “Grand Gateway” interchange.
Asphalting formed a main part of the work carried out by the project team last weekend.
It’s another weekend of action packed activity in the project’s Northern Zone as Gateway WA carries out further work in the vicinity of the “Grand Gateway” interchange.
Two new movements for motorists are open in the vicinity of Perth Airport after a weekend of work was carried out by the Gateway WA project team.
The first variable message sign for the Gateway WA project has been installed with a further 15 to be in put in place over the coming weeks.
Upgrades are currently underway on the road network around Perth Airport, which will change how you get to Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
As the road network rapidly transforms the project area, so too are Gateway WA’s urban design and public art features.
