Movements to open at Roe Highway/Berkshire Road interchange next week

By the middle of next week, all movements at the upgraded Roe Highway/Berkshire Road interchange will be open to road users during the day time, with a safer and more efficient interchange constructed at this location.

As part of the Roe Highway/Berkshire Road interchange, Berkshire Road will have a ‘tennis ball’ configuration which is the first time this road design has been built in Australia. The innovative design aims at improving road user safety.

With Roe Highway traffic now travelling in a free-flow movement over Berkshire Road, efficiency at the interchange has also been improved.

Road users are encouraged to become familiar with the new layout of the Roe Highway/Berkshire Road interchange.

The following tools are available:

For additional information on the interchange, please see the Roe Highway/Berkshire Road interchange factsheet.

There will be some night time closures limiting access at the interchange for the next two weeks. This will enable the project team to carry out the final layer of asphalting on Roe Highway. Please see our major traffic changes module for further information.
