Work commences on High Wycombe noise / amenity walls
Gateway WA has been commissioned by the State Government to construct 2.6km of noise / amenity walls along the western side of Roe Highway in High Wycombe.
Work has now commenced to establish the site including installing the site compound and associated facilities, and constructing an access track required to build the walls.
Works to construct the walls will commence shortly, with the first auger due to occur in June. Following this, the first post will be installed, allowing for the installation of the first panel soon after. All noise / amenity walls are due to be completed by the end of 2014, mitigating traffic noise and providing privacy screening for local residents.
